Maxus - Everything you need to know

By Leasing Pro

In April 2020, LDV rebranded as Maxus (SAIC Maxus Automotive Company) across Europe, producing a range of light commercial vehicles, including fully electric vans and now the first electric pickup truck.

Overview

After purchasing LDV in 2010, SAIC began producing Light Commercial Vehicles under the Maxus brand for the Chinese market as well as a few left-hand drive markets in Europe, such as Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Then, in April 2020, in Europe's right-hand drive market, LDV rebranded as Maxus, solidifying the brand's position in Europe, China, and beyond. The Maxus brand continues to stand for exceptional performance, efficiency, and dependability across its entire lineup of vehicles.

The Plan

Since the rebrand, Maxus have become innovators in the LCV industry. They stated that they have adopted a forward-thinking mindset and are dedicated to finding and developing cleaner, greener, and more sustainable LCV transportation solutions.

We have to say that so far, this has been a huge success.
