Maxus is set to become the first to market an all-electric MPV in the UK, following the announcement of the MIFA 9.

Introduction

The Saic Maxus MIFA 9 debuted in the UK at the 2022 CV Show in Birmingham, alongside the T90EV electric pickup truck.

The MIFA 9 is set to become the world’s first full-size all electric MPV. Maximum, Intelligent, Friendly and Artistic. The MIFA acronym perfectly describes the vehicle's characteristic features.

Available to order in August 2022, with deliveries beginning in Q1 2023.

MIFA 9 Specs

The MIFA concept by Maxus has three different trim levels that all include; a large, high-set bonnet, narrow headlights, and a distinctive bumper.

A selection of 7 and 8-seater models offer luxurious sitting with motorised leg support, front and rear mobility, and ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

The design on the sides is enhanced by the large aero wheels and low ground clearance, and the full-width taillights extend to the full width of the vehicle.

Range and Charge Time

A single electric motor with 241 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque powers the MIFA 9. With a huge 93kWh battery attached.

The MIFA 9 has a range of up to 323 miles / 520km on a single charge.

Price & Availability

The pricing for the Maxus MIFA 9 will be announced in August 2022, and as a Maxus main dealer, Leasing Pro will begin taking orders in August 2022. The vehicles heading to the UK will be produced in September, with the first orders expected for delivery in Q4 2022.
