The once-British van brand LDV was bought by Chinese van manufacturing giant SAIC Motor Company in 2009. Then, following a market shakeup in April 2020, LDV has now firmly rebranded in the UK and Europe as the more modern Maxus.
The Deliver 9 was Maxus’ first model released, a similar large van to the old LDV V80 but far more modern and with HUGE improvements.
The Deliver 9 has a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 163 PS and is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. Although front-wheel drive is typically available, rear-wheel drive is also an option for the largest body forms.
There isn't a need for hectic gear switching when a steep incline is met because there is enough torque (375Nm) to haul the hefty loads you might face. 100 mph is the top speed, and the braked towing capacity is 2,500 kg. Therefore, the performance on offer is probably more than adequate for your needs. For emergency stops, the basic ABS system is supported by brake assist, and ESP stability control also comes as standard.
There isn't much wrong with how this Maxus model looks. The front grille is strong and has a chrome finish on the top variant. Halogen or full-LED headlamps are on either side, and LED daytime running lights are also present. Any LCV must have a realistic load area, and the Deliver 9 meets this requirement It has rear doors that open to 260 degrees for simple loading and a heavy-duty bulkhead. A low rear step, lashing rings, grab handles, and an LED-illuminated load compartment are all additional features.

Inside, the "Lux" specification comes including an infotainment system with touchscreen and smartphone mirroring for "Apple CarPlay" and "Android Auto." The driver's seat is pretty comfy and has lots of adjustment, and the interior feels modern. The cabin feels like it could endure the demands of a hard working life because everything seems to be made to last.
Three body lengths and three body heights are available for the Deliver 9 panel van. 'Long' and 'Extra High' models are available with either front or rear wheel drive. Beyond the common panel van body design, Maxus provides several Deliver 9 variants, including as crew cab, chassis, and minibus models. Additionally, our network of expert converters can also build a customised van to suit the needs of any driver and business.
The Deliver 9 is offered in a variety of configurations to meet the specific requirements of your business. See a few of your choices below:
